V Sanal Kumar

Sanal is the CEO of Vishnusurya, where he leads a team of 250+ Members and Employees to unlock value and disrupt the landscape in which they compete.

Driving the business strategy across various verticals and new initiatives, his primary responsibility focuses on aligning operations, across functions and integrating it with the company’s legacy of excellence.

As a part of the Agni Group for over 15 years, he has been primarily responsible for the financial identity of the Group and has contributed towards transforming the finance functions across the organization through continuous analysis and review of the Group’s capital and investment activity. Strengthening BFSI - group relationships, his efforts have facilitated win-win negotiations to fortify asset portfolios, optimizing the total capital use and management across commercial operations, investments, and funding, besides Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) procurement and business acquisition proposals for lease lines and financing. Driving and controlling the financial strategy he handles all the tax functions for real estate funds and balance sheet assets, besides managing tax structuring and compliance for the group portfolio.

Agni is a Chennai-based multi-business conglomerate with a dynamic presence in real estate, property development, works contract, education, advertising, mining, and management consultancy services.

A C Thangam

Mr. A .C.Thangam brings 15 years of proven experience in mining and mining machinery (Rough stone crushers) to Vishnusurya. His vast knowledge of the mining industry and its issues, and his extensive experience in managing large-scale mining projects give him an impressive record of rock-solid achievements.

He has also successfully managed the commissioning of several contracts and has built a team of mining talent at the site.

S.Neelakantan

Mr. S. Neelakantan is a graduate in Commerce from the Madras University and a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered accountants of India (ICAI), who commenced professional practice in the year 1990, as a sole proprietor firm, has grown the audit & assurance practice to the present CNGSN & Associates LLP, one of the leading firms in South India. He has over 3 decades of experience in the profession has been providing comprehensive Audit, Assurance, Taxation & Advisory services. Being the Senior Partner of CNGSN, he handles the Consulting Practice in the firm. An expert in private equity, reorganization and Capital Markets, Mr. Neelakantan has developed one of the largest management consulting practices in South India. 

B Ramana Kumar

B. Ramana Kumar, a highly accomplished professional. Lawyer at the Madras High Court and a registered Insolvency Professional, he is the Founder of OvoPax Legal, a prominent corporate law firm, and specializes in international and domestic taxation, besides regulatory advisory services.

After serving as the Special Counsel for Income Tax, specializing in International Tax and Transfer Pricing for South India, he currently holds the position of Senior Standing Counsel for Central Government for Indirect taxes at the Madras High Court.

Mr. Ramana has also served as an Independent Director in the Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation Ltd., one of the largest railway PSUs. Throughout his tenure, he assumed several key roles, demonstrating his capacity for leadership and responsibility. Notably, he served as the Chairman of the Audit Committee and held membership in the Nomination & Remuneration Committee as well as the CAR Committee.

Mr. Ramana is also active in the field of teaching as a Part -Time Professor of Law with renowned educational institutes in India. As a published author, he has collaborated with S. Rajaratham on the book "Transfer Pricing in International and Domestic Transactions”. In addition to this significant work, he has also authored other renowned books such as "Corporate Audit Checklist," "Documents and Deeds," and "Issues on Tax Audit," addressing the specific needs of students and professionals in the field.

Maya S Sinha

Ms. Maya is an experienced bureaucrat with over 28 years of service, she transitioned to become an entrepreneur in 2010 to pursue her real calling. 

Ms.Maya currently serves as the Founder Director of Clear Maze Consulting (Pvt) Limited, where she leads a consultancy firm specializing in Public Private Partnerships (PPPs). Her company offers Transaction Advisory, Strategic Business Advisory, and CSR Advisory services to both corporations and governments.

Additionally, she holds the position of Founder Director at CMC Skills Pvt Ltd, an organization dedicated to designing and implementing Skill Development projects for underprivileged youth. CMC Skills primarily works on government-funded projects in Bihar, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, and Tamil Nadu. Over the past 7 years, they have successfully trained approximately 10,000 young individuals and facilitated the placement of around 6,000 of them.

As a member of the IRS, she has held various roles within the Income Tax Department, specializing in the Investigation Wing. She has also served as Deputy Director and additional Director in New Delhi and Mumbai, and as the Commissioner of Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC), where she significantly impacted a Project on employment promotion through rural entrepreneurship.

In her most recent assignment as Deputy Chairman of the Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust (JNPT), the largest container port in India, she spearheaded the establishment of private terminals through the PPP route. 

Ms Maya is a graduate B A (Honours) in Economics and Mathematics from Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi University and holds a Masters' Degree from the Delhi School of Economics, Delhi University, with specialisation in Econometrics, Monetary Finance and Public Economics.

Ritesh Nair

With a wealth of experience in the banking and financial services industry, Ritesh contributes valuable expertise in regulatory compliances within the banking and NBFCs domain. Additionally, he brings professional strengths in food safety compliance and risk management to the group. His role and responsibilities capitalize on his core competencies in matters of corporate governance and underwriting, enabling him to make significant contributions to the organization.

Through his professional journey, he has successfully handled critical responsibilities including the supervision of investment and insurance monitoring through the Centralized Surveillance Unit and the management of Anti-Money Laundering operations across India for Citibank India.

Moreover, he has made valuable contributions in credit underwriting for Citifinancial, India.

As a banker, he has held significant positions at IndusInd Bank, Repco Bank, and Thomas Cook. His diverse roles have spanned branch banking, foreign exchange, retail and corporate liabilities, asset underwriting, as well as collections and recoveries.

He has also served as the Founding Member and Group Compliance Head at Samunnati Financial Intermediation & Services Private Limited, and as Head of Compliance and Internal Control at IFMR Rural Channels and Services Pvt Ltd.

Ritesh is a Commerce Graduate from Madras University and holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Sikkim Manipal University and a Degree in Law from Sri Venkateswara University.

V Manoharan

With three decades and senior management responsibilities in Tamil Nadu Minerals Limited, a State Public Sector Undertaking, and advisory positions in the Governing Council of leading educational institutions in Tamil Nadu, Manoharan brings a wealth of industry experience to Vishnusurya.

His role and responsibilities in the Company include legal compliance, industrial relations, and coordination of large -scale implementations.

P Manogaran

A retired Special Chief Engineer, from The Highways Department, Govt of Tamil Nadu, Mr. P Manogaran has served in several senior management and leadership roles & has led critical state government EPC and infra projects.

As a key advisor to Vishnusurya, he guides the Company on complex project management, execution, and strategic management besides dealing with business –to-business environments.

S Dhilip Kumar

Mr.Dhilip has been a long-serving member of the Agni Group, growing in ranks over the years. He handles investment profile management at Vishnusurya besides dealing in fund management, real estate operations, and HSE implementation. Mr. Dhilip holds important representations/ designations in Government, Industrial and Authoritarian bodies.
